Brussels is known for its beautiful layout and sight pleasing looks. Brussels
is a lively city with many events happening daily during the summer. It has many
styles of architecture including gothic style cathedrals, and of course, the Royal
Palace. The Grand'Place is the showcase of many activities for the citizens of
this marvelous city and is the center in which many people host their events.
The unique part of Brussels is that it has many different types of markets including
produce markets in which the vegetables and fruit is picked the same day as it
is sold. Brussels also has many delicious cheeses available.
Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinée (Belgium Comic Strip Centre)
The Belgian Center is a haven for Comic Strip Art and is very interesting to the
natural artist or anyone who is intrigued by this art. The center represents comic
strip culture, from the beginning of its time to the present day. Among the comic
strips, the museum also has a bookshop, a library, a cafe and many different exhibits.
Musée d'Art Moderne
This museum showcases Belgian modern art and international artists. Some feature
works from René Magritte and James Ensor are among the permanent cases,
but there are are also many showcases which are temporary.
Grand'Place
The Grand-Place represents the architectural and artistic styles of the culture
and society. They have many various markets and events throughout the year, The
Grand Place is the heart of the city of Brussels and the root of its social life.
