Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, being both a place
for business and pleasure filled with all the cosmopolitan amenities such as shopping,
restaurants, nightclubs. Some have compared this city to San Francisco. One of
the main attractions is the outdoors, the Pacific Ocean gleams with sunshine and
sailing boats. There are many waterways and national parks surrounding the beaches.
Sydney has the highest aboriginal population in Australia, walking down the streets
you will find little evidence that it has anything other than a white/asian heritage.
There are many museums, theatres and dance centers. Sydney developed into one
of the world’s greatest cities when the Olympics were held. In the events,
Sydney was transformed, the streets remodeled, and new street furniture were injected.
This is what made Sydney an easier city to navigate in. The weather is also a
big factor of why one would want to visit, tropical summers and mild winters result
in year long fun. There are many harbor views, Hyde Park is one of the many attractions
that one should visit.
