Fuerteventura is the second largest island in the Canary Islands. It handles over four million passengers through its terminal each year, and peak times can see 3,000 travellers in one hour. Budget airlines have helped dramatically to increase numbers, with popular airline like easyJet making serving many flights a day.

The terminal is divided into two levels, downstairs are the check-in desks, arrival hall, information points and car rental kiosks. A ride on an escalator will take through to the departure area where there are sun terraces at either end. A small selection of snacks shops are available as well as a pharmacy and a duty free store.

Access to and from the airport is excellent with the FV-1 main road only a few minutes’ drive away.
