The Orlando Executive Airport is the first commercial airport in central Florida. Formerly named the Orlando Municipal Airport, it had also served as an air base before its ownership was taken over by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. It hosts the annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention and other special events in the aviation industry.
